Watersound Villas on the Fairway
Progress is moving right along on the new Watersound Origins townhomes neighborhood, Watersound Villas on the Fairway. The estimated release for the first buildings will be this Winter 2021/2022! Watersound Town Center Progress
New development at the Watersound Town Center is bringing new life and activity to the neighborhood! The Farmer’s Market Pavilion, the first of many exciting additions to the Town Center had its first official farmers market on Saturday, October 2nd 2021 from 11 AM – 3 PM. Find fresh produce, local products, arts and crafts, food trucks and more year-round every Saturday under the newly built pavilion!
Watersound Origins residents will also soon enjoy convenient access to shops, restaurants, the Publix grocery store, now under construction! Plans call for approximately 200,000 square feet of retail and office space including the Ascension Sacred Heart healthcare facility, now open.

The first ever RUN WATERSOUND 5K & Film Festival is a two day event at the Watersound Origins® community and the new Watersound Town CenterSM. Enjoy an inspiring evening of running-focused documentaries with a screening of the Run Nation Film Tour on Saturday October 30th and a recreational 5K on the morning of October 31st. The Run Nation Film Tour screening will take place on the Village Commons lawn in the Watersound Origins community. The 5K will begin and end at the Watersound Town Center with a flat scenic course through the paths and street of the Watersound Origins community.

The Flutterby Festival, produced by the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County, celebrates its 28th year of the migration of the Monarch Butterfly through our area with art activities, live music, theatre and dance performances, art exhibits, and a butterfly parade! The event is scheduled for 10 a.m – 4 p.m. on Sunday, November 14, 2021 in the beautiful Watersound Origins community.
