March was an incredible month for the Destin and Miramar Beach real estate markets with 322 properties closed (up ninety-nine properties from last month) and 313 new contracts recorded for homes and condos combined. Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Beach Properties of Florida recorded over $166 million in sales volume across Walton and Okaloosa counties.
A four bedroom bay front estate in Regatta Bay was the highest priced property to sell during March in Destin at $4.999 million while the highest priced property to close in Miramar Beach was a gated five bedroom bay front property in the Burnt Pine neighborhood of the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort at $8 million.
The highest priced condo sold in Destin was a three bedroom harbor front penthouse with harbor and gulf views in Harbor Lights at $1.725 million. A three bedroom gulf front condo in Grand Dunes – South Tower was the highest priced condo to sell in Miramar Beach at $1.595 million.
