
March brought a surge of activity to the 30A Beaches real estate market with 144 homes and condominiums closed (up from 86 in February) and 84 new contracts. Highest sales year-to-date recorded this month of $19 million for single family homes and $9 million for condos set precedents for the remainder of the year. Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Beach Properties of Florida led the 30A Beaches market in transactions closing nearly $68 million in sales volume with 48 transaction sides for the month. The brokerage had over $89 million in sales volume across Walton and Okaloosa counties during March.
A gulf front, eight bedroom residence in the Sanctuary at Seagrove was the highest priced single family home to sell at $19 million.

A gulf front, three bedroom residence in the new Selene & Easterly in Alys Beach was the highest priced condominium to sell at $9 million.
