One of South Walton’s fastest growing neighborhoods, the Watersound Origins community has become home to hundreds of new residents over the last year. The newly opened NatureWalk at Watersound Origins phase of the community has boomed in new home sales since its grand opening in December 2020. The new NatureWalk neighborhood will consist of approximately 466 single-family homes to be constructed by Kolter Homes in its own gated section of the Watersound Origins community. This is Kolter’s second large scale development in the region and is planned to include a new clubhouse, pool, and sport courts. Phases I and II of NatureWalk are already under contract and/or reserved by excited homebuyers.
The next Watersound residential phase underway is a 64-unit townhome community built by Cole Construction and developed by the St. Joe Company. Plans call for two-story, three-bedroom townhomes, each with a one-car garage. Residents will have access to all of the Watersound Origins amenities including the Village Commons pool, fitness center, sports courts, Lake Powell access, and the network of hiking and biking trails. A paved path will connect the townhome community to the Watersound Origins Town Center for quick access to Publix, the farmer’s market, and more. The white sand beaches are just minutes away from the planned townhome community via Watersound Parkway and the paved multi-use trail that connects to the 30A corridor.
Another exciting addition to keep an eye out for, a new phase of residential home sites will soon be developed alongside the Origins Golf Course offering idyllic views of the green and exceptional new build opportunities from esteemed community builders.
