Aspiring to Make a Difference
April has traveled all over the United States, and is proud to call NW Florida her home. Originally from Ketchikan, Alaska, and educated in West Atlanta Georgia. April credits her success to her strong sense of loyalty and commitment to her community.
April had been in the residential home building industry since 1988 when she decided to get her Real Estate license in 2004, and earning her GRI designation her very first year. Out of concern for the community she lived in, she proceeded to sit on the board for Habitat for Humanity and was the Fair Housing chairperson for West Metro Association of Realtors for 2 years. While serving her community, she raised thousands of dollars for Habitat for Humanity 2 years in a row by leading and organizing the first ever home buyer expo in west GA which was free to the public. This earned the Association the “key to the city”, and has never been duplicated since.
As an advocate for fair housing, she also led as the Vice President of the Women’s Council of REALTORS.
She is as committed to her customers as she is her industry. She is “Aspiring to Make a Difference”
